Introduction

The Empower Network is another website claiming to help people get rich from the internet. Is the Empower Network a scam? I would say yes it is.

A scam is defined as a fraudulent business scheme. To me, the empower network is exactly that because they mislead people into their network with false claims in order to profit from them.

What they tell you is that you can make millions of dollars if you join the empower network. Once you join for $25/mth you now get to start a blog on their network. The keyword there is “on their network” so you don’t own the blog, they do.

So once you sign up and start your blog, the blog really is secondary to the true purpose of this website. The true purpose of it is to convince other people to sign up and then you gain a commission.

It’s an MLM

MLM stands for Multi-Level Marketing. What that means is a marketing strategy in which the sales force is compensated not only for sales they generate, but also for the sales of the other salespeople that they recruit. This recruited sales force is referred to as the participant’s “downline”, and can provide multiple levels of compensation.

Organizational corporate hierarchy chart of a company of symbol people.

So it does look a lot like a pyramid scheme. The main difference is that pyramid schemes usually aren’t selling anything. They just get people to sign up and put money in hoping to make money from just joining and recruiting other people.

Who It’s For

This program could really be for anyone who is looking to make money on the internet. That doesn’t mean that it works for anyone, but the target market is just that. Anyone looking to profit online.

The people who actually profit from this and succeed are the people at the very top. I don’t doubt that the people at the very top are making millions of dollars. The problem is that the majority of the people are at the bottom making no money.

So to sumarize who it’s for, greedy people who are benefiting from other people’s loss and poor decisions. I’m not saying that it’s impossible to get to the top, but very very unlikely.

Training & Tools

Well there is a little bit of training but it’s not really training you how to build a business or a blog. Instead it’s training that teaches you how to convince or dupe others into signing up for empower network.

So they teach you how to get others to sign up because that how you make money and thats how the people above you make money. Not only that, but the people above you will continue to try to convince you to go “all in”, which is just a huge up-sell.

They do have some good marketing training available but not for the people who pay $25/mth. The good marketing training is only for the people who have gone “all in”.

So as for training and tools, there really aren’t very many. Once you sign up you’re kind of on your own except for the people above you trying to convince you to upgrade.

Up-sells

So the negatives far out weigh the positives. I’ve spoken a lot about the huge up-sells and the high pressure sales to go “all in”, so now I want to touch on that a little more because I think it’s a huge red flag for a lot of people.

Once you sign up for the $25/mth account you will immediately be pressured to upgrade to the $100/mth “inner circle” account. Once you are in the inner circle, the next round of up-sells hit.

This next round of up-sells is the crazy one. They convince you to go “all in”, and to do this you have to pay $5125. Yes you read that right $5125 to be all in.

Now the thing is, if you don’t go all in, you barely get any training so its difficult to get ahead. Not only that but if you don’t go all in, you don’t get big commissions. You would only make commissions from other people signing up for $25/mth. Where as if you pay the $5125 you would then have access to higher commissions.

They pressure is so intense trying to convince you to go all in that they even resort to calling you a wussy if you don’t do it. They tell you that you won’t succeed unless you spend that money.

So this is really scary and really really dangerous because that is a lot of money. Not a lot of people have that kind of money just lying around. You can bet that most of the people who spend $5125 to go all in are using their credit card and they really can’t afford it.

This is what really makes me sick. So once someone spends that kind of money they become desperate to sign other people up in order to recover some of their money.

If you are able to convince someone else to spend the $5125 and go all in, you would get a commission of $4625 on that one sale. So this is a huge payday, but at what cost?

So you might get that payday if your lucky but you’re really just forcing another person to stretch themselves too thin and put themselves into debt. Would you really feel good about yourself if you did that?

There are real ways to make an online living without up-sells and pyramid schemes where you can start a website about something your passionate about. You can actually make money helping people instead of hurting them financially. This can all be done without any experience and you can try it out for free here with no risk.

Final Opinion

So based on this review I’m sure you already know that my final opinion is not going to be a good one. I really don’t have very many positive things to say about Empower Network. I really can’t recommend this.

I really want to warn people about this company and hopefully you will think twice about joining. If you read this review and you still think it’s a good idea to join, then knock yourself out. I just can’t recommend it.

There are all sorts of negative reviews on them online and there are some really in depth ones too. You should do as much research as possible before making your decision.

I’ve heard that a lot of people have been kicked out of EN for threatening to contact the BBB. Now if that’s not a red flag than I don’t know what is.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a real honest living online you should read my #1 ranked product. It’s called Wealthy Affiliate and it’s not so much of a product as it is a service and a community.

help me make money online

It’s a community of people who are in all different parts of their journey in making an online income. There are lots of people there who have zero experience, lots with years of experience and many in between. It’s the best opportunity out there.

Thanks very much for reading my review. I just want it to be clear that I am completely unbiased. I’ve started this website in order to help guide people in their online journey. Whatever your level of experience is I can help you succeed making money online.

I make a good living from the internet all from the comfort of my own home. I have all the experience and knowledge to point you in the right direction so you can start your journey as soon as possible.

The internet is full of scams and empty promises and sometimes they are hard to spot. They can be very convincing and persuasive. We all work hard for our money and we shouldn’t be wasting even a penny of it.

Please feel free to leave me any comments, questions or feedback using the box below. I’m always happy to chat with my readers. If there’s a specific product that you’re curious about, just ask. I’ll even review a product if you request it.

If your interested in other products perhaps you can find it in my Reviews section on this website.  I’m constantly writing new reviews so if you don’t see the one you’re looking for, try checking back at a later date and it just might be there. Otherwise you can request them.

Have a great day and be careful what you spend your money on. Do a lot of research and preferably only sign up for programs that offer a free trial. if you can try something for free before you pay, its most likely not a scam.

Cheers,

Robert
