Introduction

This is a program that says it will help people make money online. It tells us that we can easily make six figures a year using the systems they teach.

My initial problem with this program is the insane prices they’re charging. The cost of Six Figure Mentors is just way too high and for that reason I can’t recommend it to anyone.

Putting my concerns about the cost asside, I dug into this program to find out if it can actually back up some of it’s earnings claims. I learned a lot about it so that I could review it and pass on that information to you with the hope that you can make an informed decision.

For the sake of transparency, I am not an affiliate of Six Figure Mentors and I have nothing to gain should you decide to join it.

Overview

The opening video for this program is very professional looking as is the website itself, but I thought the actual content of the video was somewhat revealing.

They just showed people on nice beaches, fancy cars, on holiday and generally just enjoying themselves. For a website that’s suppose to be educational, they sure are putting a lot of emphasis on money and lifestyle.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that they do this, a lot of “make money online” programs do this but I just don’t like it. In my opinion, programs that actually teach you how to make a legitimate living online should put more emphasis on the courses or what they teach rather than pulling on people’s heartstrings with the temptation of a better life.

The truth is, anybody who is on the internet searching for a way to make money from home, already knows all the benefits of being able to make money online. We don’t need to be shown other people living the good life.

This is a little insulting in my opinion and I’ve reviewed many programs that are awesome that only focus on the educational part of the program. Okay, rank over.

Finally I was able to get some information on what it is they teach. They say that they’re teaching people how to make money by selling other people’s products. So, affiliate marketing.

This is a good sign because I happen to know that affiliate marketing is a good way to make money online, it’s actually the method I recommend most to people.

Free Video Series

They offer a free video series for people who aren’t sure yet that they want to join. This consists of 7 videos that they’ll email to you over the course of 7 days. On top of that, you’ll be on their subscriber lists so expect to receive other offers from them to your inbox going forward.

The video quality is pretty good and the content is not bad, but mostly it’s just more of Jay and Stuart convincing you to join the paid program. They are good at what they do and they can be very convincing.

The Cost

There are many different levels you can join in at and they really do vary in cost. I’ll do my best to break it down for you in a way that’s not confusing because I was slightly confused by it myself.

Six Figure Mentors Introductory

This portion has an application fee that is $29.95 and it is a one time payment. It is however refundable within 30 days and this is the only fee that is refundable going forward.

They say that this application fee will give them a chance to evaluate you to see if the program is right for you. After that they will charge you a fee of $25 per month unless you cancel.

You’ll get some introductory training which will explain to you how affiliate marketing works and how you can earn money. You’ll aslo be assigned a personal coach.

It won’t take you long to realize that the real training doesn’t take place in this introductory level. You’ll have to upgrade to the higher levels in order to learn enough to succeed. Don’t worry though because your personal coach will remind you of this everyday until you upgrade.

Six Figure Mentors Basic Membership

This basic membership will give you access to everything in the introductory level plus additional training modules, a weekly training webinar and a digital entrepreneur blueprint.

The cost is a one time fee of $297 plus(in very small print) an extra $97 per month. This works out to $1461 for the first year and then $1164 each year after that.

With the Basic membership training you’ll learn about landing pages and email marketing. You’ll feel like you are making good progress and you’ll feel like you’re ready to start selling.

Just when you think you’re in a good place, your coach and other senior mentors will tell you about the affiliate program. They’ll tell you how much money you can make simply by promoting Six Figure Mentors to other people.

The problem is, in order to qualify to promote SFM, you’ll need to pay more and that’s where the next membership level comes into play.

Six Figure Mentors Elite

This membership level will get you everything listed above plus live training by the creators themselves, Stuart and Jay. But more importantly, you’ll have the right to promote SFM and earn commissions from it.

The cost of this level is $2500 per year + $97 per month. For a grand total of $3664 per yer. This is very expensive for a training program that is really nothing special. I mean yes there is some good training in there but you can get a lot of that for free right here.

As an Elite member, you’ll automatically be enrolled in the Digital Experts Acadamy(DEA). What that means is that you can interact with other top level members but more importanly you’ll be able to make the big ticket commissions. But only if you pay more. lol.

Digital Experts Academy

Now that you’re here, you’ll have access to a group of digital products that you can invest in. What “access” really means is that you can buy these digital products and then you’ll have the right to re-sell them for big commissions.

These digital products come in several different tiers and they are very expensive. The justification for this is that you can make 40% commissions on every sale you make. So you only need a few sales to make your money back.

DEA Silver – $1999

DEA Gold – $4,999

DEA Platinum – $4,999

DEA Black – $9,999

With all of these DEA levels you can make 40% commission for each sale and 10% on tier 2 commissions. So obviously you can make a lot of money if you’re able to sell these products.

With the big ticket programs, you’d only have to sell 1 per month in order to make a six figure income, so yes it’s possible.

The problem is that you can only earn commissions from the levels you purchased. So to earn the biggest commissions you’d have to spend more than $13,000 and that’s just for 1 year.

What I Didn’t Like

I really hate how you feel forced to buy into the Elite package. Since the intro and basic packages are pretty much worthless you have to spend more money in order to succeed. They sure don’t tell you that when you sign up. If they did, I bet nobody would sign up.

Then once you’ve paid even more, they start pressuring you to become an affiliate which is incredibly expensive. This really annoys me because most affiliate programs are free.

Think about it, being an affiliate means you’re going to be promoting their product. Why would they charge you to promote their product? The only answer I have is because they know you won’t be able to sell it to anyone so they might as well make money from you with an upfront payment.

The training is not too bad but I don’t like how it puts way more emphasis on teaching you how to promote SFM specifically. On the initial sales page they tell you that you’ll learn to sell other people’s products. I guess that’s true but they are the only “other people’s” products you’ll learn to sell.

Most people would be much better off learning how to promote any product they want. That is how you can make a real living as an affiliate marketer. Amazon is one of the biggest online retailers and with the huge variety of things they sell, there are endless opportunities for affiliate marketers to sell anything they want.

I really think that it would be difficult to sell something to someone for $5000 when they can get much better training at a place like Wealthy Affiliate and they can even join for free.

Final Thoughts

I really can’t recommend this product to anyone. There are so many good ways to make money online and this is most definitely not one of them. You will go broke with all the up-sells and you’ll come out of it with a sour taste in your mouth for the entire internet marketing industry.

The cost of Six Figure Mentors is just too high. You can get indusrty leading training for affiliate marketing for much cheaper and your chance of success will be much higher.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope this review was helpful. Please feel free to leave me comments or questions in the box below and I’ll be sure to get back to you ASAP.

Cheers,
