How To Use Keywords For Your Website – Jaaxy

There’s many different ways to get traffic to your website. I could go on all day long about what google likes and dislikes but first I want to teach you how to use keywords for your website.

jaaxy

Jaaxy is by far the best tool available to find keywords for your website. Before you can understand why this is the best tool, you need to first understand how exactly keywords work to drive traffic to your website. Once you understand this you can really leverage them.

How Do Keywords Work?

Google rules the internet. So if you don’t know this by now then I guess you’ve been living under a rock for the last 20 years.

When you type something into a search engine, the search engine then decides what websites to pull up for you to choose from. There’s other search engines like Bing and Yahoo but Google is the biggest.

Every time you type something into a search engine, that’s a keyword. So if you type “running shoes” into google, that is the keyword.

Now lots of websites are going to be competing for that keyword because it could be a very valuable keyword. Most likely Nike or Adidas will pop up on the first page of results.

It would be almost impossible to get ranked higher than Nike for that keyword.

So on the other side of the coin, someone who owns a website will want to use keywords to drive traffic to their website. If you have a website about gold fish food, then you would want to rank high for the keyword “gold fish food”.

If you could manage to rank high for that keyword, you would then get a lot of traffic to your website, not just any traffic but you would get the people who typed that keyword in.

This is great because it would be safe to assume that if someone typed “gold fish food” into google, most likely they are looking to buy some.

So that’s how keywords work but now you need to learn how to leverage them to drive traffic to your website.

How Does Jaaxy Help My Website?

2 jaaxy As I said before, Jaaxy is by far and away the best tool available to find keywords for your website.

There are other tools out there that you can use but they won’t give you everything you need to help your website.

So Jaaxy is a keyword tool that helps you find information on specific keywords. All you do is type in a keyword to the search bar and hit enter.

After a few seconds you’ll be shown all the important information you need to know about that specific keyword.

There can be a lot of information about each keyword but really there are only a few factors that are important for your websites rankings.

The most important information for you to get out of a Jaaxy search is how much competition a keyword has, how much traffic does it get and does it make sense.

Competition

A Jaaxy search will tell you how much competition a keyword has by telling you exactly how many websites are competing for that same keyword.

Certain keywords are so competitive that there are thousands of websites competing for them. These are keywords that you want to stay away from.

You will want to seek out keywords that have low competition. A good rule of thumb is to only target keywords that have 300 competing websites or less.

The less competition the better so if you see one that has zero competing websites, you could be in luck, but wait……there is another factor to look at before you get too excited.

Traffic

Next you want to look at traffic. This number will tell you how many people type that exact term into search engines over the course of a month. This is important information.

If a keyword gets 1000 searches a month and you rank number 1 for that term, then you will be getting a lot of traffic to your website. In fact you will get a majority of those 1000 monthly searches.

So again, look for low competition, 300 or less.

Look for high traffic but when you’re just starting out and your website is new, then even if the monthly search total is only 5 you might still want to go for it because you have to slowly build your traffic before you can hope for the more competitive keywords.

Below is a little Jaaxy search bar so you can try it out for free. You can put a keyword into the bar and hit enter. If you sign up for an account you will get 30 free searches so you can try it out for free.

So as you can see it’s really easy to use and simple to understand.

Why Is Jaaxy So Important?

So keyword tools are vital to your website’s success. You will not be able to drive any substancial amount of traffic to your website without using a keyword tool, it just won’t happen.

Whether you use Jaaxy or a different keyword tool, you will discover right away how important it is. With that being said I really recommend Jaaxy instead of other tools.

Jaaxy is able to gather the numbers and metrics you need far more efficiently than any other keyword tool that I’ve seen.

Once you start fooling around with Jaaxy you will soon start to learn a lot about keywords and how to use them on your own website.

No matter what you niche is you will be able to target low competition keywords with the help of Jaaxy. Even if you’re trying to compete with huge companies you will still be able to find good keywords.

This is why niche websites  are such a great way to make money because there are thousands of keywords that have very low competition.

Even if you’re trying to compete for keywords targeting running shoes you can still manage find something that is low competition.

Of course Nike would have the best rankings on keywords like “running shoes” but you can really mix things up to find your own niche.

For example you could try a keyword like this, “the best running shoes for women in their 50’s”. That’s just an example and I haven’t researched that particular keyword.

My point is more about longtail keywords. Longtail keywords are more like short sentences. The term “keyword” makes us think that it has to be one word but it really can be a whole sentense if you want.

By using longer sentenses you will have far less competition. Of course it’s more likely to have less traffic as well but that’s how you start.

You start with the low hanging fruit and work your way up to more competitive keywords once you have good rankings.

snagit pic jaaxy Here’s an example of a search I did on Jaaxy. I searched “hobbies for retired people”. The Important numbers to look at here are Avg, Traffic, QSR and KQI.

Avg

This is the average number of times this exact term gets searched online per month.

Traffic

This number represents how many visitors would be driven to your website if you ranked number 1 for this keyword.

QSR

This number is the exact amount of websites that are competing for this same keyword.

KQI

This isn’t a number but a color. There are 3 different colors you could see here, green, yellow and red. If it’s green that means that this keyword is good and viable.

If it’s yellow it means that this keyword is ok but not great. If it’s red it means that the keyword is very competitive and probably not a good idea to compete for it.

So now you know all about keywords and how to use them to drive traffic to your website. I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you learned something from it.

Whatever stage your at with your website you will always want and need a keyword tool and now you at least know which one to look for. Sign up for a free Jaaxy account here.
